AI-powered home appliances – Samsung Bespoke AI
Samsung has launched new range of home appliances with Bespoke AI that will offer a smarter living and reduced energy consumption. Aiming for a greener initiative and reducing the burden on environment, users will be able to customize their choices and controls of the devices.
Personalized user experience will add on to more freedom in daily lives, rather than being limited by certain fixed choices offered.
Using AI vision, AI voice and AI data technologies, we will offer new experiences in which home appliances can be controlled and connected more intuitively.

What’s so special about Bespoke AI appliances?
The latest home appliance products from Samsung come with high-performance AI chips, sensors, and cameras. It also has inbuilt Wi-Fi which will allow for seamless connection and convenient home management through the SmartThings Application.
The smarter AI devices will help reduce user’s time and energy spent on chores. This will significantly revolutionize user experience by taking the smart home experience to the next level.
Addition of AI is not just for user convenience – it also helps in making a greener impact. AI will help in increasing the sustainability and longevity of home appliances. As a user, you will get a notification on the SmartThings App whenever your fridge needs a water filter replacement or if your AC needs a filter change. It will also reduce the time needed to maintain and manage these devices.

Bixby AI Voice Assistant
Samsung has implemented generative AI in home appliances through Bixby, Samsung’s voice assistant. With generative AI, Bixby will go much beyond its current capacity of executing only one order at a time. It will be able to comprehend complex sentences and naturally converse.
For example, it will be able to execute, “Turn on the air conditioner to Wind Free mode, and let me know how the weather is.” It will also retain context to offer continuity like the other voice assistants. It will even come up with solutions to statements like, “the room feels cold,” or “Hi Bixby! Show me what’s inside the refrigerator and what can I make using it. ”
Smart Forward and Home Care
These AI-enabled products also come with Smart Forward. It will essentially keep your appliances updated regularly. Home Care, on the other hand, will monitor the devices for issues. If any problem is detected, it will suggest a solution, making maintenance easier.
AI Home
It is a connected 7-inch LCD display which offers intuitive, and easy access over the whole Bespoke AI ecosystem. It is now a part of multiple products in the lineup.
There’s a 3D Map View feature with which you can get a full three dimensional view of the house. From this view, you can easily locate and control all the appliances. For example, if you are cooking in the kitchen, you can turn on the AC in other room directly from the AI Home interface on the fridge or induction hob. You can turn on the vacuum while doing laundry in the other room.
It can also be used to take calls coming to your phones! No need to run around finding the phone in the other room. You can continue working on your chores while seamlessly taking the call. And of course, you can play your favorite music, videos, or even look up recipes on the screen.
Mobile Smart Connect
This is another new feature where you can get a push notification on your phone when it is nearby a registered appliance. The pop-up notification offers quick control options for the appliance. Voila, you don’t need to go hunting for the elusive remote that your kids might have hidden in some place. It’s so convenient that you don’t need a few extra clicks on the SmartThings app.

Bespoke 4-Door Flex Refrigerator with AI Family Hub™+
This refrigerator is like the mastermind of all things food. You can connect it to other kitchen related appliances in your home. You can even mirror your phone on the AI Family Hub™+ large LCD screen. This screen on the front panel is key to everything – be it searching for recipes, viewing videos, or listening to music.
In addition, there’s a little camera inside with AI Vision Inside feature. You can use it to detect 33 fresh food items in the fridge and see their list on the screen outside. The same will also be available on the Family Hub™ display and the SmartThings app. The number of food items is expected to increase gradually. You can even ask your fridge for a meal recommendation based on what’s inside it!
Bespoke AI Laundry Combo™
The Samsung Bespoke AI laundry combo offers washer and dryer functions in single unit. It uses AI to recommend optimal laundry cycle depending on your need. The AI Opti Wash & Dry™ feature adjusts washing and drying. for each load and even adjusts detergent and water depending on the load. It adds more detergent and varies washing time if it detects more soiling in the clothes. This one also has the 7-inch LCD screen and Bixby assistant for convenience.
Bespoke Jet Bot Combo™
The Samsung AI vacuum cleaner cleans and scrubs the floor and then cleans up the mop itself with the Clean Station Steam+ feature. Like other robot-vacuum cleaners, it also recognizes and avoids obstacles using AI Object Recognition. But, unlike them, it sends you a report to your device where you can check if the cleaning was enough. It also has AI Floor Detect which identifies the type of surface to be cleaned – for example, the wet mop is good for the floor but the cleaner stops itself from going on the carpet.
