Birch Milk Refining Toner is an acid toner that refines pores and buffs out fine lines. It has an optimal blend of 1% AHA and PHA that can gently exfoliate and thereby reduce breakouts. It’s a much lighter formulation as compared to usual 4-7% acid in other K-beauty toners.Â
It follows the Korean philosophy of treating acne â gentle and hydrating treatments. The milky base of the toner contains over 70% birch juice, squalane, glycerin, and sodium hyaluronate to hydrate and retain moisture in the skin.Â
The Giving Essence is a treatment essence that can add a layer of deep hydration and deliver skin brightening effects. According to Cho, it is the key to healthier, dewy skin. It is made with a base of over 80% fermented yeast and anti-oxidant-rich algae and black chokeberry.Â
The formulation of the essence if complementary to the Birch Milk Refining Toner as it is deeply hydrating. It protects skin with polyglutamic acid, a new and improved hyaluronic acid that holds 5000 times its weight in water to retain moisture in your skin.Â
